A Joint Talk on the Two Most Exploited Species of Animals,
And How They Are Being Helped

Join the Veg Society of DC (VSDC) on Saturday, Oct 28th as we once again visit Greenfare Organic Cafe in Herndon, VA for another in the VSDC NoVA Speaker Series.  This time, Karen Davis and Mary Finelli will give a joint talk on poultry and sealife, the two most exploited species of animals and what is being done to stop it.

KAREN DAVIS, PhD is the Founder and President of United Poultry Concerns, a nonprofit organization that promotes the compassionate and respectful treatment of domestic fowl including a sanctuary for chickens in Virginia.

MARY FINELLI is president and founder of Fish Feel, the first organization devoted to promoting respect and compassion for fishes as sentient beings.
